Service of the Unit

- To use the communication channel with the university personnel and the students efficiently.

- To use the platform or channel for providing the university students and personnel to use information technologies.

- To specify the principles on informatics, training and basis issues; to make strategic plans

- To give information utility about information technologies to the undergraduate and graduate students and academic and administrative personnel of the university.

- To provide informatics-based solutions for the needs of the university units.

- To contribute to the policies both about the public opinion for the university and about creating a proper work area.

- To use communication devices with the aim of providing all university members take part in the platforms which are prepared by using information technologies

- To arrange the communication between the Directorate of Information Technologies and the other units

- To carry on studies for evaluating the negative and the positive sides of the internet; to develop strategies for generalizing the positive qualities and controlling the negative ones

- To prepare visual, auditory and textual materials for providing participation of the personnel and the students to the technology policy of the university

- To give technical support to distance learning units

- To study with the aim of making the department functional on science and technology platform and to transfer reliable information to those who concern about that subject

- To put the strategies about providing a healthy connection between the university and the interlocutors on the area of information technologies into practice

- To get a central seat on choosing the technologies which are related to the network base of information  technologies and to study on spreading a productive work policy to all units

- To cooperate with non-governmental organizations and information sector for supporting our country on being an information society

- To carry out other tasks which are given by the director
